Before applying for Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC), please ensure you meet all the necessary requirements and have all the documents ready.

Document Requirements

  • Valid Passport

    Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Malaysia.

  • Travel Itinerary

    Confirmed return or onward ticket showing your travel dates.

  • Accommodation Details

    Address and contact information of your accommodation in Malaysia.

  • Valid Email Address

    Required to receive your MDAC confirmation.

  • Mobile Phone Number

    A working mobile number that can receive SMS messages.

Technical Requirements

  • Internet Connection

    Stable internet connection to complete the online form.

  • Electronic Device

    Computer, tablet, or smartphone with a web browser.

  • Web Browser

    Updated web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge recommended).

Timing Requirements

  • Submission Window

    MDAC must be submitted within 3 days before your arrival in Malaysia.

  • Processing Time

    MDAC is processed instantly upon submission.

Important Note

MDAC is NOT a visa. If your nationality requires a visa to enter Malaysia, you must obtain it separately before your trip. MDAC is simply an arrival card that replaces the paper form previously filled upon entry.
